The email sent on Saturday June 4th to kick off summer break. There is a minimum dress code for all certified staff- jeans will be allowed on Wednesday (could be theme day or school spirit) and Friday (spirit). Additionally, we will allow staff to wear jeans for the Love Tree “Days of Christmas” fundraiser that is held in December. Otherwise, all other days should be business casual. We expect a higher level of dress for events that you may be facilitating or presenting to the public.
There is no wearing of sweat pants or jeans that have rips, tears, or holes in them. If a staff member is wearing leggings, they must be covered with a dress or tunic. No flip-flops (safety reasons). There are no exceptions.
Certified and classified staff may leave the building only during their duty-free lunchtime. However, you must sign out and sign back in upon return to the main office. Anyone leaving the building at another time during their workday must have prior approval from their building administrator. In addition to signing out, please make sure the office secretaries are aware of your departure for emergency purposes.
Certified staff should have a sense that they NEED to be at staff meetings, and should make plans to attend the entire time. (up to 11 scheduled for the year- will always end by 5:00 PM)
